E-Trac Numbers Chart.

Hi everybody. Snow today, no hunting. I have a problem. I have lost my printout of where finds fall on the number scale. If anybody has that chart, would you please post it again so that I can print it out. It will be some time before I will be able to hunt, so I will need that chart to play around the house and learn more about this great machine. Thanks again in advance. HH...Jesse.

I was "ON" for a new E-Trac until I looked at that chart again. If you graph those numbers, the E-Trac changed to a linear detector like the single freq units. How can everything be at 12 or 13 ferrous regardless of trash or valuable? Just looking at that chart something seems wrong.

The F75 is already a speed demon with mediocre discrimination. I've been enjoying my Explorer because even though I'm walking like a zombie, I'm digging less.

It's not! It's close but according to Andy the CO number is fairly constant no matter the other variables. The FE may range from 12-17. Get a hold of Andy's book and read the section about FE12 and you'll get a good explanation. It's not a problem in the field. If you changed to 'off; for that reason there will just be more for the Explorer series users to find. Regards...Jim
