E Trac not responding to targets

Hello everyone, I Was out detecting today and the E Trac will not respond to targets. I placed coins on the ground and no visual confirmation on the screen and no sound either. I turned the machine off, turned back on, same result. There is sound every time the machine is turned on . I have also reset to factory settings and still the same result, no visual or sound response when swung over any metal object. Has anyone experienced this and any suggestions as to how to fix.

The only thing I could suggest is to check the coil connection and the wire from the coil, and if that looks okay and you have another coil I would try it. Just sounds like you have lost the coil.

Sounds like a bad coil (or coil connector) to me.
