E-trac in Sweden...finds silver.

I have finally got my permission and have been out a couple of times with my brother in southern part of Sweden the last days.
We work the beaches and parks with the nice duo E-trac and X-terra 705!

Using small coils is essential due to all the trashy ground we detect.
The baby-SEF for Etrac and 6"DD for X-terra have been giving us 56 silver and 10 silverrings and a lot of clad so far.

Etrac is better in trashy sites. But I do like the Terra in fields for the faster recovery.
We have been comparing Etrac/Xterra on the same finds, and have find out that the Xterra doesnt find some of the small silver, whilst the E-trac have no problem picking it up.

It leads me to the conclusion that I really need a Etrac a.s.a.p :)

Now work is over for today.Weather is great and Etrac standing in the hallway ready for action.

Great hunting to you all/

nice lot of silver! when did the coins stop being silver? we lost ours in the year after the war to pay for war debt

Excellent work and go get your E-Trac.

Wow - Really beatiful silver coins. Hold on to them - I say silver is still a double from here in the next few years. If nothing else it's a hedge against the Euro/Dollar/etc.

How heavy are those big coins? 1/2 ounce or 1/4 ounce? I can only hope to find a spot like that. Germany didn't circulate nearly that amount of silver.

Very nice lookin' finds Mike! Thanks for sharing the pictures from your area of the world.

That is a lot of Chaddar !!!! Cool finds

Thanks guys and girls:)
Last day hunt gave me 56 coins.Three of them silver and 35$ in cash. I like the 10 crown(ca 1.5$) They are golden to the color and people seem to drop them easily.
Park and beach detecting is nice. Its the only detecting we can do in Sweden therefor I go to England every now and then.
Hunting there puts detecting in another perspective.

Hello from a norrbaggare, yes get an E-trac, its great on thin hammred coins too. It should be lots of them in swedish fields and if your government change the law this year you`ll be able to swing in much better places than beaches and parks. I use e-trac side by side with a Deus but my finds are often better and more. Its the way you use it that matters and of course the settings (TTF).
