E-Trac Hits the Sidewalks

I worked some sidewalk curb areas this afternoon in an older section of a nearby town. I dug the 40% silver Kennedy half-dollar at 4". It really made the E-Trac warble at a very high pitch, so I knew it was probably over a good target, even though the coin rang-up in an unfamiliar range (at least to me). The coin was on the very bottom of the plug and at first I thought it was just a piece of dirt-covered trash, until I turned it over and saw shiny glints of silver showing through- I then knew that it was actually a half-dollar!

Very nice find. Like Dave said, you don't see silver Kennedy's come up very often. Thanks for the pictures.

Hit it hard I'm sure there are more. Good luck hope you find a lot more. I hope to get out with my E-Trac soon. Need to blow the cob webs off it.
