I got out this evening two hours before dark door knocking and the first yard gave up a 1939 D merc
and a couple of Wheaties. I had about one hour left before dark and got permission to hunt another small
yard. I wasn't finding much. The guy and his wife was setting in the yard where they could see me.
Finally I told them thanks and started to leave and then I thought I would hunt the 4 foot wide strip
between the street and the sidewalk and boy I'm glad I did! I got a nice dime reading about 7". Sure enough
it was a silver dime, I couldn't tell what it was till I got home and soaked it in water. It is the 1st seated I have
found in several years, an 1890.
Here are picks of the best finds (4 short hunts) I have found the past ten days.
Thanks for looking! Love my E-trac! Happy Hunting!
