e-trac control head removal

Ray(Ca)

Active member
Hi everybody

I'm trying to remove the touchpad pod (control head) from the body of an e-trac. Has anyone done this and if so could you please let me know how to do it. I don't want to break anything trying to remove it!

Thanks,
Ray

i have done two.....my old exp II and 2010 i did my sepro.

was hard to do, whatever glue minelab uses really works.

many have done this and some said they used finger nail polish remover to cut the glue .......i failed at this.
i used a thin knife and screwdriver on the sepro and i ended up cutting the base out on the expII.
