E trac Arm cuff question.

Have any of you folks modified your arm cuff strap to be longer? I end up going out in crazy weather and the arm cuff on the E is no longer than the Explorers I have used. Am I the only one who I cant hardley fit my arm and coat thru it? Works great in short sleavs but hey summer here just isnt that long. I want to change it. Have you seen or done any nice mods to the band that look realy good?
Thanks for any reply,

I was in the same boat ! So now I make new arm cuffs! It is superior to the stock cuff. pm me if you wanna check it out.

Just get a "K - Cuff" from Mr. Krayola !

I got mine a few weeks a go and I really like it !
It's very well made, comfortable, looks great and the taller than stock stand does a great job of keeping the machine out of the mud and snow !!!

Sorry for the low quality photo's - our good camera was not available.

I replaced the original cuff on my XS when it broke after a couple years. After 10 years, ML still hasn't come up with anything better. ?? I picked up an aftermarket cuff before my detector arrived, much wider and easier to hunt with when I'm in a coat than the narrow V shaped original. I don't usually hunt with the strap in place. Andy's book shows a couple different options.

Thanks Rich,
I been keeping up on your posts as I like to see how your doing.
appreciate the suggestion and I just read Andys book...I ve got a different set up I am going to replace it with so i can easily velcro it together in a larger band.
Good luck to you

The weather is nasty out right now, storm front must be blowing in. Sounds like a good day to go hunting tomorrow.

I can vouche for mr krayola's cuff. I've been using it for a couple of months now and love it. Just personal preference but I like it better than the herke cuff. It retains the slant back shape of the stock arm cuff that allows an easy swing but also has a longer more user friendly strap.
