E-Trac and X-Terra 70.......easy switch.

I have the X-70 and love it.....it's the best machine out there in it's price point. I'm planning on getting the E-Trac next spring so I purchased the new Explorer/E-Trac Handbook and have read it twice already. Also after reading many posts here and noticing the ID readings people are getting from various targets they are very similar to the ID numbers on the X-70......conductive that is.
Once one wraps their head around the E-Trac's menu and features I feel the move from the X-70 to the E-Trac should be relatively painless. I think the trick will be to start off with conductive tones, 4 tones, and smart find with ID numbers. IMO.

That being said .....The Etrac conductive readings are the most stable to depth of any Target ID detector I have ever seen.....and I used an original explorer for over a year and it was not even close to the Etrac on Depth and Consistent Target ID.....couple that with out standing Target See Thru in Iron and it is THE Minelab I have waited on for years.....!...!...!...!
In my mind most the others are just toys......yea they work some what..... if you got a blue moon and a three legged dog you might get lucky......
