E-Trac and Diggin In Va

I have heard mixed reviews about the E-Trac and how it performs in the "hot soils" where DIV is typically held. The Pulse machines seem to be the operators choice but can the E-Trac be successful in those soils?
 
I have found period coins and bullets at to 5 inches deep. I did find a few deep buttons at the 6 inch depth, but getting anything deeper is tough. The Pulse machines are far better for that location. HH...Jesse.
