E-Bay Petition

Although I'am not a regular to this forum, I have a petition posted that I would greatly appreciate your signature on. The petition is at the link shown below. Check it out and please sign it if you agree. Just trying to keep those fake civil war items listed on E-Bay away from the authentic civil war relics you guys dig. Thanks in advance...D. Young (cwrifle)

So what's E-bay to do... hire experts on CW relics to constantly screen every one of thousands of items that are listed weekly?
It all comes down to common sense when buying something and anyone who thinks they can buy a mint condition confederate buckle for $200-$300 from an "E-bay power seller" has probably had a pretty tough life and will continue to learn lessons the hard way.
If you want a problem solved you should suggest an answer rather than just having a bunch of "nobodies" sign a cyberspace piece of paper.

Thanks Dean..I knew I could count on you to help out...cwrifle

C.C. Thats Ok. I expected flack when I posted the petition. And you're right I don't have all the answers. As far as a bunch of nobodies signing it...well that could be debated...:)...just trying to bring more attention to E-Bay not enforcing their current policies when listing authentic ACW items. All I'am asking for is a few signatures to make them aware there is a problem. Just like you I get frustrated when I see the crap that is sold as authentic and its not. Whether they act on the petition or not is another question. I am aware with enough voices the stamp collecting field did change the way E-Bay sold related items in their field of collecting. But it took actions similar to this. Being a newbie to your forum I didn't see where another link couldn't be posted here...so here goes...check out the link below of which I am active in...Thanks again...cwrifle

We don't refer to Ebay as "E-Fake" for nothing. These bums are ruining the collecting community and should be banned from all forms of selling relics. You should look at them in the field of Arrowheads. Geez; you think CW is bad. Good luck with the petition. Your welcome to post any legitimate news here. Good collecting, David @ Dixie

Thanks David...We need all the signatures we can get...again thanks alot for your support. You're always welcome at the NVRHA forum also...cwrifle
