Yea,I did! Same thing happened to me a week ago. I called Minelab and they issued a tag and I sent it back. Said about a week or so. I quess the wire that goes to the headphone jack comes loose. Easy fix yourself ,but will void your warranty if you still have one.Minelab was really great to deal with and if you have some warranty left send it back. How old is your unit? Wonder if this is a common problem?

I have the same thing.. Out of warranty though. I tap it a couple times with my knuckle and I can hear tone through the external speaker again, thing is that I never use it without headphones so it is not a big deal to me. One of these days I will take it apart to fix it since it shouldn't be that difficult.
