Dusted of the E-trac and put her to use :detecting:

And she didn't treat me bad surprisingly since i neglected her for so long... After foaming at the mouth over Dr. Bob and Mikes finds I got out last night on St Patty's say, hit an old church that i got permission to hunt last year. I pulled about 5 silvers out last year between the E-trac and the SE. I cruised along the side walk heading to the church doors and got a screaming signal with he E-trac.. I dug down and hit my first silver Rosy with the E this year. I poked around a bit longer and pulled 6 wheats.. An interesting find was the 1960 Lincoln I found.. It was in cased in some kind of steel ring. The out side edges were badly rusted... Thought it was different... I got up this morning and picked up a buddy, decided to give the E-trac round two at an old park. First target of the day ended up being an 1899 Indian, first one this year.. Manage to pull many more wheats and a couple mercs. The one merc was pretty awesome, someone had shot a hole right through it.. Dont see that every day either... well gotta go to work.. Happy hunting everyone!

P.S I was probably the only guy in his twenty's out hunting St Patty's day night lol

I'd say that's some pretty good finds, especially the shot up Merc. That's really cool! (hope it's not a 1916 D).

Congrats Derrell, nice to see the stuff you found, need to arrange a hunting trip together.

Nice mercs! Cool shot coin. Thanks for the pics

I too had a patties day hunt tho not with the luck you had! I wonder how that bullet hole got there? Cool find!

I'd hate to get in front of that guy that shot that merc :nopity:...nice hunt DD.

Excellent finds DD, just add a silver chain to that bullet Merc and you have yourself a cool necklace/conversation piece.
Thank you for sharing, DD.

Hey D,
Nice to see ya posting again, I been missing your adventures. I was worried last year you sounded like your were going to switch back to the SE. But I see you still have you Big E to sniff out the silver. Hope you have a better year as I always like seeing your digs bro.

good luck,
