Here is a find with my Ace 250. It rang up as a solid dime and was indicated as 4 inches deep. Well the dime part didn't work out so great but the depth was right on. It was a hard recovery since it was tucked in under a large tree root. Now that I have my Pro-Pointer I should have fewer problems recovering the next tree root hider.

Now I am just going to check the area again for the other 3 caps and the car that goes with it. :biggrin:
 
Pretty cool man.
I wonder if that thing was in the ground longer than the tree was.
 
Finding items like that and researching them is one of the things that make this hobby so much fun.
