Dug up Vintage pull toy . unable to find info on it.

I was detecting the woods near my home and dug up an old pull toy just 2 - 3 inches deep.
i have tried to ID it but have been un able to find another one like it to compare it to.
there is a manufacturers mark. it appears to be an MA in a circle. it is made of plastic, with metal
legs that walk when pulled. missing a small piece of the tail, otherwise in pretty good shape.
Thank you for any help ...

Its called a ramp walker. Yours wasn't meant to be pulled by hand. When new it would have had a light string with a small weight on the end. Hang the weight over the edge of a table and the toy would walk across. Could the logo be an MAR in a circle? If so the walker was probably made by Marx.

Good eye and memory Daryl, I bet you played with them when you were a kid..... I remember I did. I can't remember if they were bought in the five and dime or a premium in cereal box but they were popular in the 50's.

Couple years before my time. the MA is in a circle it does appear as if there is another letter but it is rubbed smooth.
it does have a string and small two piece led weight attached to it. Ive been playing with it all wrong. gonna have to try it out,
thank you all for the ID, looking up ramp walkers now. ... you guys are good. TY H.H.
