among my favorite US coin denominations to find. I have had a dry spell on them for a while, but then it's been a dry spell around these parts for a couple of months anyway. Dry and hot all summer long. We ended last month with 101°, 103°, 102° and 101°, and we've been concluding July with 101°, 103°, 102°, 102°, 102° and at 3:40 today we've been at 104°. Combine the heat with the early arrival of sunny and warm-to-hot weather with some late spring rains and many of the older sites with good potential have been over grown with dense, tall weeds since the latter part of April.
I am sure others have had some bad weather to deal with, too, so I'm am envious that you have some favorable locations to access and possibly more pleasant weather to hunt in. It does look like we might have a break coming with a good 10°-15° drop in high temps next week and I am planning on getting away at least a couple of mornings to try and find a desired keeper like you found.
Best of success to you in your future hunts, and like you, let's keep enjoying the Nokta Relic, my #1 detector.
