dug this in small park

Dug this yesterday while detecting a small town park . Rough park not very well taken care of .
I have no idea what this is thought it was off a horse briddle at first but its to heavy and the size of a half dollar and its lead I think with Gold plating which some has came off . It won't stick to a magnet and its real heavy. Anyone have a idea what it is ? Heres the front and the back .

looks like some sort of flattened button...perhaps guilded, perhaps military???

Looks like a bridal rossette. With the strap still intact. Great find.
