I was detecting at a Boy Scout Camp that has been heavily hunted. I went there hoping to find some older coins which I have never found at that location before. After two hours I ended up with over $4 in clad and two wheat pennies, 1944 and 1950. Just about every clad coin I found was above three inches so when I pinpointed a
 
Yeah years ago I dug up two Walking LIbertys both standing on edge at about eight inches but it wasn't with a Garrett. Garretts are really sensitive so it's no surprise and the 550 is hot on small targets. I remember when I field tested it years ago I was impressed with its sensitivity to small items.
