Dug a billion tabs,finally got some gold

Hey all in CZ land.I have been working under the bleachers at a near buy high school for a few months.I use my cz70 with the 5in coil,sens on 2(bleachers are metal),and accept all targets but iron.I dig every round/square tab,5cent,zinc,high coin signal.I dig foil signals untill I cah't take it anymore,then just dig the stronger/bounce foil signals. I got a "perfect" round tab signal,that turned out to be an 18k catholic medallion.I was trying to keep a tabs to gold log going,but stopped counting tabs at 700.I love this spot,but walking hunched over and constant digging kill my lower back.I have been detecting since 1991,and this week I hit my first trifecta:"jar of coins"-silver coin-18k medallion! I am a happy camper. HH.

So many items mimic gold rings but those that investigate get the goodies..Tip of the hat for your patience as most would move on. If one of the manufacturers ever come out with a unit that could tell a gold ring from a tab they would sell like hotcakes. Admittedly there are faster machines with better ID and audio variances that cut down the odds but a CZ shines for deep silver and saltwater beaches where the odds increase for gold jewelry and most would not have your patience and move on as in your circumstances unit must sound like a machine gun with all the targets. Certainly an attaboy on your part.
