My buddy and I headed out this morning and hit several spots worth hunting. I beat him with the total coins found and the oldest. He beat me with a token and a ring. The day ended with a handshake and no hard feelings.:buds:

Here's the best of the best!

Below is an old empty tube of "AVON HAND CREAM" a vintage find dating back to the 19 40's - 1950's.

Glad you got out and did some dirt fishing with a friend, John. Can't think of a better way to spend the day.

I am working this weekend....I have a new schedule at work. Let me know if you are coming up to the big "E".........

Neat finds. I remember digging under a huge old evergreen in a ghost town when a bit greener to the hobby. I smelled mint as I dug. What I recovered was an amazingly pristine tube of 40's/50's? mint toothpaste. It still bugs me to this day that I nipped the amazingly preserved tube and ruined it. Oh well.
