Dry/Land Headphone Connectors Waterproof?

Hi folks, I don't use my Infinium in a scuba (fully submerged, as in ME fully submerged) but I do use it in waist high surf and have a question. As I do not use the waterproof headphones (I like the volume control of the dry and have NO need for the fully submersible ones). That being said, is the connector on the dry headphones waterproof just like on the submersible versions? Provided that I do not allow ANY water to get near the actual headphone end am I OK to submerse the entire unit with connector underwater?

The unit seems a bit quieter when in surf if the whole unit is submersed and I'd just as soon not have to buy the other headphones if I don't have to.

Thanks all
Jennifer

Silver, with all due respect, I realized that. My question was about the land ones as stated in the subject line.

"Yes"

The wire is sealed in the back of the plug, same wire assemblies but fitted to different headsets.

Safe hunting.
