"Dry Box"

Where you have a water detector that has gaskets many performance issues can be traced to moisture. Here's a handy gadget for drying out a board thoroughly. You don't even have to take the board out. Bill Lahr taught me to use a dryer on boards (carefully)--works wonders on unstable pulse machines. 10 minutes on, ten minutes off X 5. Very grateful as this trick saved me a lot of mailings.

I use a paper bag with the same result. Place whole box in it and blow the hair dryer into the open end. Same time frames.

What will happen sometimes is the pots get water inside and it need a real intense hot air saturation to dry them out. This is the way to go about it.

Very cool and a great idea for travel! Compact!!

I've use a dehumidifier over the years when at home, not as fast but will suck the life right out of your wood floors also...

What temperature setting do you run the hair dryer at? Too much heat can destroy a circuit board just as fast as water.
