Dream House

I have been trying to get permission to detect this house for at least 4 years and today I got it. I will not have long to hunt this because the Owner is remodeling it to rent out or sell. Looking at these pictures you can see why this house has great potential. Note it has a relatively clean yard, it is an older house, it has very large old trees, and it has a large back yard that is fenced with large old trees.

I hunted a couple hours today but found very little. I started in the Front Yard away from the Driveway, which to me, would be less likely to have coins. I found several Hot Wheels cars, two Nickles, and two Zincs. This could indicate this house has been hunted in the past but I still have a lot of yard to hunt.

My point in this post is that this is the kind of place I look for to hunt old coins. Does not get any better looking than this. Now I just need to find that Clothes Line in the back yard.

Nice ,I would be looking where there could have been a swing on those trees , Have Fun and know the feeling to get a permission that you have been trying for years. -------------------GH--------------------------after1----------------------------

I also would detect around the stoop/steps on the back of the house especially. Ladies sometimes would take off their wedding ring/s before they worked in the gardens and place them on the steps. The little kids/dog would come along and inadvertently kick nd dislodge it and the ring would fall into the grass or dirt. I have retrieved gold rings just an inch or two from the bottom steps.

Maybe it's just me but that house doesn't look all that old. I know everybody has an opinion on what an old house is. Do you know when it was built?

I hit pay dirt today. About 3 clad dimes 1 1958D Wheat at least 10 good Hot Wheels cars and this




Still got a lot to Hunt as well. Next few days will be spent Fishing though. White Bass are running
