DrBobinMO ,LabradorBob & I raided KS once again Saturday.....

It was showing 18 degrees on my car thermometer when we headed out at 6:30 am but warmed up to 40 by afternoon and we all had a great time at a couple of public parks.Dr.Bob set the world on fire and reached his silver goal for the year with an awesome find I am sure he will post when he gets the time.At one time I observed DrBob shaking like a leaf next to his freshly dug hole and was afraid one "Dr." might need another "Dr." but he pulled through without any medical assistance.

We all found multiple silver and a few other oldies.LabradorBob was the first man in the field and his coil was sliding effortlessly on the heavy frost so we jumped out and started swinging away.Maybe a little faster than normal to help keep warm lol.We all started off real slow finds wise but after the first hour started to do better.

Would like to say LabradorBob and I both found 2 Barber dimes each and DrBob was dying to find just one, but that is another story I will let DrBob tell in his own post:devil:looks like we may have at least a few more days to hunt around our area before it freezes if the rain will just let up:detecting:

It was a great time,a little cool at first though.
Congrats RayMo on the great finds.
It was a great day with friends,we all did a lot of digging!

Ray,

You and your buddies are getting on my nerves with all these good finds.

It's just not fair.

I don't have time to go.

It's not fair that you 1 percenters find all of the good stuff.

What about the 99% of us who are to lazy to go?

What about the 99% of us who don't like the cold?

What about those of us who aren't smart enough to turn our detectors on?

I love messing with liberals.

Great finds Ray, good luck on your next hunt.

Regardless of the cold - sounds like you guy's still had a great time - nice finds ! :clapping:

to be allowed on the views forum by now. I've seen alot of posts I'd like to try to refute or comment on.
The antisemitism is still alive there I see. I also see the same 2 or 3 guys responding to good posts with irrelevant bashing.
Anyway, keep on finding the good stuff!
Neal

Getting together to hunt....AWESOME!!! Great finds too!

Deno, I hope thats just a blanket statement and you are not calling me a liberal, because them there are fighting words to me:starwars:

LOL, anyways it was a blast hunting that day. Can't wait to do it again.

Looks like Chanute Kansas butcher token dr.bob found on your road trip.
You must have been in the Humbolt, Chanute, Iola area.
Did you make it on down to Parsons?
Man what's you guy's gas bill?

In this day and age finding this quanity of injuns and silver coins in a couple public parks is fantastic!:surprised:
Congrats!:clapping:

You guys are my heroes!!! Anytime the mercury drops below about 40 degrees, I decide that's the time to sit in the comfort of my "man cave" and do research. You deserve great finds for going out in that kind of weather. Great job, all of you!!!!!!!!

With that deduction, the borders of Indiana and Colorado must have changed since I found tokens from both of those states in what I consider Missouri this year.

But thanks for the heads up, I'll do some research on those towns and see if there is anything interesting worth hunting there.

No, never been to Parsons.

Who cares what the gas cost when you are having fun. It's only money:thumbup:

I actually based my deductions on what you guys post and the fact that Humboldt is a small town and some of the local detectorists have told me they see cars with missouri license plates parked at the square and that the guys they see are using etracs to hunt with. Also the same cars parked at south park. There was also missouri tags seen at Iola and Parsons, but maybe these are not of the same gang of hunters.
Another deduction "Who cares what the gas cost when you are having fun. It's only money",.
True, I don't care how much the gas cost when your having fun.
Yes Humbolt was a civil war town "burnt"(another clue) and is well documented.
Odds of a Chanute token in one of these areas would be pretty good.

Dr. Bob

You look way to smart to be a liberal, I do apologize.

I posted this here by accident, Ray posted the link on the views forum

and I responded to the link thinking I was on the views forum.

Good luck to you guys.
