As always we had a great time hunting and visiting.Bob was killing me all day on silver until the last couple of hours when my E-Trac finally woke up and started hitting the silver like it was on fire.We hunted several city parks during the day and all were open to the public. They had been hunted a lot but evidently not with E-Tracs
I also got the one lonely Indian of the hunt and it was a crusty 1888.The little bowed piece is a part of a silver clasp from a bracelet I think.Soil was bone dry and like digging in baked clay but iron falsing was basically non existent and that was part of the reason for our success I believe. Bob got a silver coin he has been lusting for,for over a year along with several other silvers and a great ring. I will let him tell you all about them when he gets time to post.
