Heh all,
I started collecting old bottles when I was a kid living in South Carolina when I accidentally dug up a few old medicine bottles. At one point I had probably 60-70 old medicine and bitters bottles. Now I only have about 20 (the best ones) but I have no idea what they are worth now? My best bottle is probably a Drakes Plantation Bitters, 1862 (Log Cabin); a Warners Safe Cure, London Safe Cure about 6-7 inches tall; three other Warners Safe Cure, Kidney and Liver bottles (browm but all slightly different)-all have a safe on them; Hops Bitters 1872 ; Lashes Kidney and Liver Cure; Atwood Jaundice bitters (I think 8 sided and aqua with bubbles; and about 15 others without looking. Any thoughts on what they may be worth today? I figure the Drakes and Warners Safe Cure bitters are well over $100 but not sure anymore? I do know that they are all pretty much late 1800's because the seams do not go to the top of the bottle, lots of bubbles, et al.
Thanks
