I wrote Dr. Mossman and it seems that you can keep your information as private as you wish when reporting a colonial coin find. I encourage you guys to lend a hand if you can. My friend was involved in the Richard A Fox study of the Little Bighorn and speaks highly of the detectorists that helped there.
