I noticed while testing that I could run the Sens in DP mode higher than in other modes? It also is not as deep as other modes even with the Sens higher? It does run more stable on mineralised soil though.

I think you might be partially true. The Db is a deep mode but it's id doesn't seem to be so deep. When you get sound but no id it's almost guaranteed to be a deep one. Not sure about turning the sensitivity up more in this mode. Maybe since this mode is a continuous sampling one? Anyone have any ideas here? I haven't tested it in that way... I'll have to play with what you said when I hit the mineralized stuff.

I've run alot in Db mode but haven't really dug anything beyond 9" or less. So far mode 3 works fine for me. I'll have to hit an area with deeper targets. I am able to run the sensitivity up pretty high so it's a matter of time. Just need some new spots! Starting to get cold over here in Germany though...

Thanks for your reply EMS. I definatly can run it with higher sensitivity and it will lose an inch or two over the other modes. But it is more stabe on mineralized sites.
