'is a big hollow tree.....' Not really.On the Lake Michigan side of the road,there is a paved driveway that goes up to the top of the bluff overlooking Lake Mi.,down from Pigeon Hill Resort.This paved driveway is overgrown,trees growing up through broken patches of broken cement,trees at least 10-20 years old......This driveway disappears up the bluff,into the trees..........
Now,nobody just paves a driveway for naught,methinks there is an old HOMESITE,up yonder on top of said bluff........From the looks of things,the paved road looks quite old,maybe from around Depression times????How long have paved driveways been around???
In any event,I told Marcia,that if and when my back is up to snuff and I am stronger,exploring we will go,probly not until next Spring,after snow melt.It is not posted with any signs,pavement ends looks like about 75 feet from the highway......ANYBODY WANT TO JOIN ME???NOTE
