My buddy Lee and I took off at 5:00 am this morning and headed south to this old park. Not much to show for our efforts, but we still had a good time just getting out. Lee got about 12 wheatie's, no silver and some clad. I got four wheat's the oldest a 1918, 1927, 1946 and a no date. Kind of odd that the 1918 was in better shape than the rest of them. I also got a well worn 1912 S barber dime and dinged it with my knife..... It was only about two inches deep and it makes you wonder how it got missed by everyone else knowing this park has been pounded to death. Thank god it wasn't my first seated that I could have dinged!! Thanks for looking and have a safe and wonderful 4th of July to all of you.......... HH.
