Down by the Sea

I am going to Florida for a few weeks and plan to detect the beaches. I narrowed my purchase of a PI machine down to a Garrett Sea Hunter and a Tesoro Sand Shark. I do not care about excessive digging as I know it is coming with either machine. Why should I choose a Sea Hunter over the Tesoro?

Used by Mel Fisher team, been around for a long time, is NOT hard wired. You can use different coils without sending it in. Water proof design is also a winner! Battery department is separate from electronics. Lots of videos on YOU Tube.I have experience with one.

Yep, got to go with being able to change coils. I went for the Infinium, and use it often in some areas off beach.

I had the sea hunter and moved up to the Sand Shark and never looked back, the hunter had a lot of false targeting and just was too heavy for me, the shark with the 10" coil is the best for me, have dug many rings, some with lots of diamonds . Now at five years old still going strong.
