I went out early today to a big ballfield complex, one central concession area, so I worked all the natural travel paths radiating out from it and started hitting double stack Q's at 3-4".
OK, so those are not rare, but I bet I got over 10 doublestacks (87 tid) and a few more tight spills, all of them were 2Q's?....total was 30Q's nearly 20D's, a half dozen N's and 45P's in 2hrs..F70 set on 42 sens, 4 disc, -3 thresh, DP tones...gets me right up to the chain link and bleachers pretty good..
Also got 2.80 in cans, a great Underarmour hoodie, and a batting helmet...stopped at a rest area on the interstate on the way home, washed the clad off in the sink, and ran 3bucks of dirty Q's through the vending machines, hit the coin return, and out tumbles fresh clean clad! Cashed in the cans at the local KayRoger, (Kroger), bought a trifecta of 25oz BudLites with the cans and a few cleaned Q's...so I got beer and gas money covered today in short order...got home and mowed the yard even, and it aint even lunchtime!..
..It sure felt good to be out ransacking!..I've been having a hard time getting motivated this Spring, outta shape, I need to plan a route and take a few days to work it, camp out, try to make the days pay off of finds, have an adventure....the F70 sure is one quick broom for this type of work..a guy can survive with an Fseries and a little pluck....windy and cool, made for a nice comfortable hunt...
