Found 2 nice little silver rings to go along with my usual clad. I also found a digging tool and a bent spoon;plus lots of trash.HH

Good finds Steve...I am slowing down a little with weather...did hit a 42 wheatie today.... Starting to look at tumblers again...

Gregg:
For the money;harbor freight is hard to beat. You can a dual drum tumbler for about $40.00. Had mine for over a yr and going strong. Make sure to buy extra bands ;if you do.A lot of people have broken alot of the bands;but Im still on the original that came with the unit. I think people just over load the drums, I never fill them more than 1/3 full with coins. I believe this is the key.Congrats on the 10,000 coins. Getting close to 5500 coins myself. HH

Good finds Steve....Silvers good double silver is
GREAT !!!

I almost bought the double barrel one from Freight Harbor. But I heard about the belts breaking. Heard Lortone has a very good tumbler.

Greg:
Loritone does work well but they are pricey..The bands will break on them also !!!

Gregg:
I still have the original belt on mine. Been tumbling in for a yr now. Got an extra bag of belts and havent changed it once. As I stated earlier ;I think people just put too much in the drums. A 1/3 full of coins and no problems.

Nice to see the silver rings that you rescued and a big pile of clad. Good going Steve!

using the double or single barrel...wife says its time yo get rid of the clad....for once we agree!

I have used a Lortone single barrel for many years. The band only broke one time and I replaced it with a heavy duty rubber band, the kind around vegetables in the store. I paid about 30 bux but that was probably 15 years ago or so. Steve in so az

You know Greg.I do not really know...........I bought both, and belts broke on them fairly regular even with no big overload..So I bought a bullet casing cleaner at
gun store..It vibrates and I use little metal slugs..It works great and has never broken. Cleans the coins till they look new.........I even use the green clean stuff that comes with the casing cleaner...and that works well also..It was cheaper too.
