Double dose of Walkers

About 2 to 3 years ago I got involved in assisting an old fellow to find 7 buried spots on his little 5 acre cabin spot, where his dad had buried silver coins in the mid '70's. He had already dug one spot "under the bird bath" and it contained two plastic bags with 2000 silver quarters and a 2 lb silver bar in each. We managed to find a 5 gallon glass jar filled to the top with coins, clad and silver, and some silver certificate bills, a one gallon plastic milk jug with halves and quarters, and a one gallon plastic bucket with 500 silver halves in it. All of this was about 2 to 3 feet deep in sand. My CTX with the middle size coil would give off a high tone and a signal in the penny range, 40-42, with no depth. Anyway, Friday I managed to find two Walkers in the same day hunting here in the Houston area. A '46 and '47D. Neither very deep, maybe 5" on the first and the second I uncovered by sweeping dirt aside with my boot. Both were found on house demolitions with permission. Also a War nickle and a R. Lee figure.

Great story and nice finds!
