Double-Crossed

Two different outings with the 705/DD HF Elliptical coil: One at the sports park Friday....the other at the beach this morning.
*Thought for sure along with the $2.75 in coin I had a ring and nice cross from the sports field....Feeling confident till I got home, rinsed everything off and put on the glasses. Supposed ring that I left packed with dirt (next to cross), which was the first target dug was a piece of brass threaded fitting and the cross although weighty, silver in the middle/gold trim and nice looking,... is costume! Not sure what the enameled leaf (also a sports field find) is from?
*This morning at the beach, I picked up $5.24 in coin, cross and earring....no metal value, but a good outing just the same. Shiny new coins mean the beach bars were hopping over the weekend!!..Bring on spring break!! GL ALL
