So I'm out at the tide line on a dull cold day with my tector.Nobody else on the beach but me and some stranger way off in the distance watching me.Suddenly I get a good bleep in the headphones and after a few scoops with the trowel I pull out a thick banded gold ring with fancy design and two initials engraved on the inner.I continue on and see the stranger walking towards me,now I see that its a lady and she's coming my way.

Tells me that she had been swimming around where I was searching two weeks ago and discovered that her wedding ring was missing afterwards.Just by chance she had returned to the beach to somehow hope to find her ring because she was so upset in losing it then she saw me with a strange looking machine doing what I was doing.

I said OK I've just found a ring and if you can describe it then you are welcome to it,she described it perfectly and I handed it over to her.

Now I really enjoyed finding that ring and was hoping to add it to a growing hoard of stuff but I got to tell ya this folks, nothing gave me more joy and satisfaction than the look of pleasure, relief and disbelief, on her face.I'll likely find many rings in my time and no doubt forget where and when but I'll never forget that special one.
