General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have left positive feedback for everyone I have dealt with here. As you all know, good (or bad) feedback helps other buyers and sellers make a sound decision as to who they want to deal with and trust to send their money or product to. The last handful of folks I have dealt with have not even bothered to return the favor. And despite the fact that these sales went smoothly, I will most likely not deal with them anymore. I know it seems petty, but please show a little courtesy. Thanks !

Hey McDave, you are not being petty. When you buy or sell it's nice to know you will get what you expect and the buyer will pay on time and be happy with the purchase, that person also should get feedback. It helps everyone who buys over the internet.

Just recently I sold a detector to Phillip in NM, who is great to do business with!!! But anyways it was the first thing I've ever sold on here or the internet, period. Had he not mentioned giving him positive feedback on the feedback forum I probably wouldn't have, because truthfully I have never checked to see what the feedback forum was. I have my certain forums I check out and never look at others. Maybe these people are new to selling on here, as I was. Maybe tell them you'll give them positive feedback on the feedback forum, and ask that they do the same. This is what Phillip in NM asked me to do, and I returned the favor. Sometimes us Rookies need a little guidance.
