Every once in a while I remove the coil cover and clean under it. I got the bright idea to spray the coil with armor all to keep dirt from sticking to it. It also keeps the coil cover from sticking to it. After alot of scrubbing I finally got it to stay on.

Consider yourself lucky, when I tried to get the coil cover off my new Cibola I broke the cover and had to get a new one. Do they ever fit on tight. Steve.

is to use water pressure. Use a faucet or for the tight ones a hose, and let the water pressure do the work for you. Makes the task much easier.

My cover was hard to get off because dirt and sand got wedged in. I got it off, cleaned it and stuffed a piece of string all around just at the top edge of the coil to keep dirt out. Didn't take the cover off afterwards, so don't know how well it will work.

I have a hard time taking the cover off of my Cibola. I have cracked it slightly a few times taking it off.

I have had to repair it a few times with crazy glue.

I have the opposite problem with the Tiger Shark. It does not stay on.
