But I am tired of it. We have so much if it went to 50 I couldn't see the ground for detecting. Come on spring...........

Oh Me Too !!!! Was almost 50 yesterday, ground covered in snow ,
Back into the 20's today with snow forcasted everyday next week
Spring cannot come soon enough :please:

Hi, we went out and found nothing!!! Not surprising, since there was 6-8" of snow on the ground. So take into consideration the reduced sensitivity, a small 4.5 x 7 DD coil and a balmy 35 degrees (high) and it's no wonder we go nothing. Wishful thinking isn't going to make the snow disappear. We need a giant flame thrower. Calling all electrical / mechanical engineers??? Or just increase global warming, at least for next weekend. Can you tell I'm going stir crazy???

Ahhh.. No snow and above freezing here in Sweden, lovely weather to head out..
Yeah I know I'm teasing ya, but it's fun if you live in Northern Europe and don't have any snow for once in winter; though we had earlier.:detecting:

It can get a little chilly on occasion here in the Memphis area, but seldom do we see snow. Having grown up in Mn, I can relate. Come on down and we'll do some:twodetecting: HH jim tn

I would be thrilled to find One (1) Civil war relic..no matter what it is. Would be a first for me after all these years detecting.

Awww man, I live here in the Michigan snow belt and I don't really want to talk about it, waaaah

Bring it on anytime, Elton. I'm not a big relic hunter, but know some spots and belong to a club that has several good relic hunters in it. SNOW, no more if I can help it. HH jim tn

Our snow total for this year so far is 230+ inches with 48" on the ground. Please don't gripe about 5 or 6" on the ground. It might be June before I can go detecting:ranting:

You need to move dude!!! Sorry, I don't have that much snow, but I share your pain!!! I guess we need to make lots of friends and have lots of money to travel the country following the good weather. Hope it's not June before you go hunting again!!!
