But seriously , most of these targets are deep ones , not just the big stuff but the small pieces of aluminum, talking maybe an inch in diameter are down 8 inch's in the ground . I dug the brass water valve with the copper tubing at a depth past the length of of my propointer (9 inch's). Its like Uncle Willy said " theres going to be some fantastic finds down the road" But if I dont find any silver or gold it just cant be there, and when spring comes and all these great finds start flooding in the forum and I still havnt found any good stuff, then(I will consider myself jinxed.)

Your hard work will be rewarded.

And don't consider yourself jinxed, consider yourself lucky that you don't live where I do. You would'nt be detecting right now :nopity::rofl:

Luke, you lucky son of a gun. You really do have that touch with the AT. If my eyes serve me right, it appears you might have found a flag holder there and a late model coke can. Looks like money well spent. I have to admit, I found some of the same stuff.

I dont know what half this stuff is. My money was well spent on the AT pro. The ATpro is simply a relic magnetamaniac. My back is a little sore from cutting through roots and finding stuff like copper memorial penny 8 inch's down , it sucks and I love it, enough said..

Kind of like my weekend. Nothing really great, 1 cheap ring, but I dug many targets that could well have been something. I dug several pull tabs that were well below the tot lot fill and in the dirt below. I good total 10". Lots of can slaw out of tot lots that could easily have been some gold that were missed by my past hunting.

Holy crap! Special attention to the word "crap."
Well, we know that the AT Pro targets junk just as well as any other
top of the line machine, right?
