Returned to the ol "trashy ballpark" today because I have no privates to hunt at present. Thought I'd try a different approach in my learning process so today I figured I'd slow WAY down and dig some "iffy" stuff with the pro coil. I also hunted in quickmask with everything from 24 on down ferrous side blocked out. I dug some deeper stuff with the more open screen. I got the rosies on a somewhat crappy signal but enough good sounds/#'s told me to dig. Got the rosie at 8" in bottom of hole and rechecked the plug and the other one was about 1.5" above in bottom of plug. Usally I hunt the trashy ballpark with my 6" and some disc but I did notice the extra depth with the Pro and a more open screen? I hope to unlock some more stuff using this as it seemed to work better today now that I'm learning the language better? Got rained out after 2 hrs today and looks like I'll be rained out for a few days.......

PS....broke last weeks silver drought....FINALLY

Way to go. One that gets me from time to time is "flicking" the target out unknowingly OR having it stick to the wet soil on your digger. That one was fun. Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on the Rosie twins.

Love hearing about park silver. Neb funny you say that I had silver ring stuck to tip of lesch one time I got so mad could not understand where the dang sound went. Gave up walked off went to dig next target and noticed the ring. I have launched coins prying roots before. seen it go flying and panicked thinking oh no my coin is lost! HA HA hey ding dong you got a detector attached to your right arm pretty sure we can find it again.

I'm starting to catch on.... Recently have dug some deeper signals, search in hole and find a nail or two, figure I got tricked by falsing, refill hole, sweep coil, much better signal now, re-dig and find the coin.....lol

I've also been trying to get in the habit of knocking off that extra dirt off the end of the lesche in the hole so I don't do what NebT did....lol

At This Point I Would Be Thrilled With Your Duo...Still In My Silver Drought In 2014:confused:

All droughts eventually end usually with a downpour. ;)

That first silver of the year is the one always remembered! :)
