I found a totally corroded ring in the Gulf last weekend that upon cleaning turned out to be a 4.3g 10k wedding band . After rolling around for years ,the 60% copper alloy had leached out leaving something not looking like gold . This is the 2nd 10k ring I've found like this from the Gulf proving if it doesn't glitter it could still be gold !

I swear I've thrown away a couple of rings that I thought were copper...but looked just like your pics.

Here is a good example. Found this in a tot lot (sand) and it looked to be junk.
