I donated the Park Security badge I found to the Virginia, MN Historical Society.

And I also made it a point to tell them how much we appreciate being able to hunt such a beautiful park ! :please:

Here is my video of the hunt when I found it ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lauGP0BR5c

Brilant finds ,

McDave,I found an old DNR badge at Big Fish LK MI state park about four years ago and returned it to one of the Rangers at the park.Couple of years ago at a park entrance shack at one of the bigger parks in the same area Hadley State Park the ranger read me the riot act, only targets on the surface no digging etc.I made a joke to the ranger you should be a little nicer besides I found a DNR badge at one of your other parks and returned it.The ranger perked up and said you're the one that found the badge. He further stated very cool!and said that the old bronze badge was in a display case at headquarters, anyway that made my day.HH Ron
