New coil covers for both, new battery door and gasket on my Fisher 1280 X......My 1280 X and I have MANY HAPPY MEMORIES :inlove:,made in nostril- deep fresh water(Never been in ocean!!),in the years we have been together, finding many great things!!!I am getting my parts thru Pro/Stock in Plainwell, says there to update battery door/ gasket assembly,so as to not compromise the waterproofing, especially the older ones......My Garrett 1350 GTP is one POWERFUL detector, very sensitive and accurate.I just discovered small chunks of plastic broke off the 7x10 " elliptical search coil :( from not having a coil cover on it,a pox on me.........Then,we shall be ready for wet and dry:twodetecting:!!!

He has them too.

Here's the fix: You can use DAP 100% Silicone Rubber Sealant for your coil. It sets up in about an hour. It's available in colors but I've only used the clear.
