Doing between sidewalk and curb...here is another reason why

Kids who were my age ran to get ice cream from the ice cream truck and in our excitement could well have lost some old coins, pocket knives, roller skate keys, etc. right by the curb.
 
Also, years ago the city busses stopped at places that might be changed now. Get an old route map and see. steve in so la
 
There is still a few of those where my wife's grandma lives.

Yes, memories of the ice cream trucks when my children were young and even during the summers where I lived in South St. Louis County the ice cream truck came around for the kids! Also, in my childhood days, there was the ice man's truck parked by the curb to deliver blocks of ice for the old-time ice boxes, so although very pour back then some coins could have been lost for finding today!
