Found this dog tag Saturday at an old ball field. The phone number put it in 1950's or early 60's. finally contacted the son today. I would guess he might be around 60. I am bad at guessing ages. He remembered getting it from his father. Didn't know what happened to it. Doesn't remember going to that ball field since it isn't in the town he grew up in. So I still don't know how it got there. Guess I never will. He and his wife were very happy to get it back.
