Sure would make it easier, not to meantion quicker, for others to read this forum.

Lots o' folks avoid this forum because of the needless redundancey.

Sure but why on earth would I want to put my reply in the subject line? Seriously it has puzzled me why people do that anyways. I have been on internet forums for about 20 years now, starting back in the BBS days and have never really seen one where people use the subject line to post their replies. I spent the first week or so on here wondering why people kept making blank posts before realizing they used the subject line for their replies. To each their own I guess...

Responses don't belong in the subject line...... the subject does.

What amazes me more is why people put questions like this on the Whatzit forum.........

kschae4, I used spell check and it corrected the proper spelling of response, thanks for the suggestion.

Do we all have cabin fever or just forgot to take our meds.............

Puttin yer response in the subject line, especialy on this forum, saves everyone from having to open each and every post to see if the correct answer has been posted or not.
I've seen repeated responses on posts because a lot o' folks won't open everyone first.
I've also seen incorrect answers posted because folks didn't take the time to open every post
first and see the correct answer.
Had the correct answer been in the subject line for all to see, this wouldn't occur.
No biggie, was jist wonderin'.

Ok here goes step by step

Mouse up to the Subject box and Left click and hold down the button as you run from left to right or right to left and all the text is black release the mouse button and the text should remain blackened

Hi the Delete key and all the text should dissappear.

Place mouse curser in the subject box and note the blinking cuser..

Simply type your text in the box....

Move muse down to post and you will now post the message without any text in message area and whatever you typed in the subject box.

Jim ...I sure wish it would stay at 43 degrees. Snow returns tonight along with the brrrrrrrrr crowd (below freezing temps for the next 5 days)..just great .
I gotta stop these comments ...afterall, it's the whatzit forum , as I recall....

I must have mine set different than yours or im just going into the forums i read. I see the subject ONCE by the original poster then all the others once opened. Works good for me... quite easy.

Some people don't know that they can change the way the forum is displayed by going to your Control Center and then Forum settings.

I PREFER to open EVERY message and read them...THAT is what I am here for...To me, it just seams lazy....Like some teenager saying "Like" every other word...The Subject line just does not have enough room to say what I want most of the time...I say if you do not have time to read the text, OH WELL!!!

HH,

I had went through this after joining, and tried the other format.....didn't care for it. If clicking the mouse button an additional time is burdensome.................is this what we're become?

Just sayin'...........
