Does using a smaller coil effect the depth measurement meter?

From my experience using Whites machine with different sized coils, I know that when you change the coil diameter it will also change the depth measurement of the target on the machine, making it inaccurate.

Is this also the case with ETRACs? I just got my 6" coil and I am wondering whether the target depth display will be accurate, or will the target be deeper than shown or shallower than shown on the meter...

beachdude, i am not expert, but say the 6 inch coil gets max 7 or 8 inches and bar on depth graph is half then should be about 3.5-4 inches on coin sized object. etrac adjusts for each coil, just have to know your max depths for each coil. D
