Does this meter have a back light ?

Does the Winburn Avenger have a back light ? And is it a good meter ? I don't hear to much about this meter. Thanks for any info. GS

The only 2 I know for sure was the Sun Ray DTI III and the Nighthawk that were digital and the Analog one would be the Patriot meter. I remember trying a Avenger and seem to work OK and didn't feel it was not a sensitive as the Sun Ray meters, but that was OK for most, just don't remember a back light though.

Thanks Rick for the info. I just got one in a deal I made and it looks brand new. I thought it may have a backlight and it burnt out. But if not have a light that's fine it works great and looks like it was never used.

I used both the Winburn Avenger and Night Hawk they are great meters. The big problem with these meters they are like vampires, which will die in bright sunlight.I spent a lot of time under shade trees waiting for the screen numbers to reappear.I think the Avenger was made the same time the first Sunrays were being produced and the Night Hawk was in production a little after the Sunray meter stopped production. The Avenger had the pot adjustment inside and the Night Hawk had a outside pot adjustment.Good Luck Ron
