Did a half day on two beaches today,5 hours total, with the 14k ring coming at the end of the hunt.Starting at 7AM the waters were gin clear and calm. The junk ring was found 20 minutes into the hunt followed by the chain with peace signs....no excitement here, you could tell they were junk in the scoop, but it was good to start out with something positive.Interesting find was the 2nd matching horseshoe shaped earring to the one I found back in July...same beach of course.Got $2.67 in clad, hoops and studs...the belly button thing and charm were from yesterday when I used my buddy's CZ-20 for a couple hours.
The white gold/green stone ring is 14k 2.7g....stone looks in rough shape...earring is 925 china. GL HH

Wow! Beauty gold (peridot stone?) and a solid hunt! I be needin' some of that sweetness!
Mud

Yep Mud,Its a 14k Peridot halo ring with 36 diamond chips.I left it with my jeweler this morning to see if he could polish up the stone that looks rough on the top.
I have a friend who already says he wants it for a birthday present for his wife, since Peridot is the August birthstone.I'll just need it back to take to our MD club meeting at the end of the month....it looks like a winner! Thanks

Picked up the Peridot halo ring from the jewelers this afternoon.....He diamond polished the stone and cleaned the ring. They have the same ring for sale at $799.00 retail. He says I could get half that, but I will offer it to my friend for $200.00....I think that's a fair price.

That's a lovely find, and decent of you to sell it cheap to your friend. I hope you win the find of the month competition with it :)
