does the 5" coil get good depth on cz3d?

Howdy amc

I have the 5" coil for my CZ5 and it is all I use. It gets great depth for it's size, it gets almost unbelievable depth........so I won't post any depth claims on an open forum. In the older places where I hunt with lots of square nails the little 5" coil seperates targets amazingly well too, just don't jack up the sensitivity too much. I run mine between 4 or 5 and sometime less than 4. I use DetectorPro UniProbe headhpones with all my detectors, and I can hear the deeeeep targets well. When I get those short, small high tone 'tinks' It is almost allways a good deep target. Get one and use it and you will not be disapointed. HH

5" coil
I was very impressed to the point as using that as the go to coil.

I agree with Hombre. I have a 1021 so it is a hot machine already and by the sounds of it you have one as well. I will say this...I found a 1950 Rosey just tonight at 6" loud and clear. I havent been using that coil much, I am now....

yeah i think i've got a newer one my start 1129 and goes from there but yes i was impressed by the air test for sure, and this is the second fisher machine i've owned you can really hear the depth of the targets, my 1270 was prety good but man the cz are all over it, wished i had gotton one of these a long time ago
